More and more companies are including their boardrooms and meeting rooms with interactive monitors, such as Guaguas Municipales , intended for public passenger transport in the city of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria. In their facilities, they had a digital whiteboard, which they hardly used, and a cannon that they used for project presentations. Thanks to the advice of the CRI Group, they acquired three Clevertouch interactive monitors, distributed by Charmex .

“Between the time we turned on the cannon, squared, focused, adjusted the light so that it could be seen well throughout the room, the connection of the laptop, etc., we wasted a lot of time,” recalls Pablo García, purchasing Manager at Guaguas Municipales.

The day to day that Pablo and his colleagues had with the old presentation teams is not something unique, the experience of the CRI Group as an official Clevertouch distributor in the Canary Islands has made them realize that valuable time is wasted when performing the connections and adjustments necessary to project the contents of laptops, tablets and other mobile devices when holding meetings.

"With Clevertouch interactive monitors we eliminate cables, junction boxes and projector lamps; we use wireless systems to make presentations from any type of device and be it Windows, Mac, Android, Ios, or Chrome", indicates Dácil de La Guardia, Clevertouch product manager in the Canary Islands.

Dácil made a demo not only to Pablo, but to the IT department of Guaguas Municipales, to show them all the possibilities that the team had. "I knew a little where the shots were going but when we saw the possibilities that Clevertouch had, the team confirmed that it was what we were looking for. Without the presentation we would not have seen it the way we saw it," Pablo emphasizes .

The newest thing about this new range of interactive monitors is its integrated Android operating system, which can be updated as technology advances. Until a few years ago, all monitors needed a computer to function, Clevertouch, pioneered by incorporating Android into the screen.
Guaguas Municipales currently has three Clevertouch monitors, installed by the CRI Group, 2 Impact Plus of 65 " and a UX Pro of 55" business model. “A smaller one that is anchored to the wall in the CEO's office, which has a small meeting table for 6 people. Then we have another one in the company boardroom that is linked to a multipurpose room, which we modulate and take from one place to another and also one in the company's training room”.

The quality leap after the acquisition of the monitors has been important.   “The interface of the monitor itself is not comparable, that is, when we projected on a normal cannon, there were always lighting problems, technical problems and workers who got upset because it didn't look good. This is over. The image is amazing and the resolution is incredible, "says Pablo, who recognizes that users also appreciate not only the visual but also the tactile part when making a presentation," before it was done with the laptop remotely and dialing with the pointer, now with your fingers on the monitor or control it with the mouse, much more comfortable. Without a doubt, the meetings have improved in quality, we work on the fly together, something that we could not do before”.

When it comes to videoconferencing, the jump in quality is also important. “The image with which we see the interlocutors and the one that we project is incredible. And as simple as turning on the monitor, putting the camera on and that's it. You don't even have to turn off the light”.

"Having the support of a serious and decisive provider like the CRI Group gives me a lot of peace of mind," he highlights.

What all Clevertouch users agree on is the ease of handling it, “when they install it, at first you have the surprise factor and you wonder how difficult it has to be to use it, but when you see that it is just a piece of equipment that you have to turn it on. And that's it, the surprise is greater ”, Pablo emphasizes as he recognizes the importance of a team like the CRI Group that responds to you behind the purchase of a product.

“The supplier made the training available to us from the first moment. If at any time a question arises, having the support of a serious and decisive provider like CRI gives me a lot of peace of mind. In short, in the case of the Clevertouch interactive monitor, a good product was chosen, with a good supplier behind it, a consistent technical service that has penetrated the user and the user uses it and gives added value to their work”, he explains. .
