Improving efficiency in hybrid meetings with Clevertouch and Poly

ACEDE is a participation platform that brings together businessmen from different sectors, political representatives of all parties, social agents, employers' associations and unions; created to break with historical disputes between sectors and collaborate efficiently in Catalonia.
As Francesc Camarasa, Secretary General, explains, “an association like ACEDE survives thanks to its activity and the events it organizes. Due to the pandemic, as in so many other sectors, our activity was paralyzed. We had to adapt to the new reality and join the virtual world. But we did not have the appropriate tools to maintain the quality of our meetings.”
Advised by AV integrator Pyme Tech, they included a Clevertouch interactive display and a Poly Studio video conferencing bar. This is a solution in which Charmex has been the supplier of the audiovisual technological equipment.
“For us it has been a wonderful system that continues to surprise us every day and that allows us to solve and improve work in an efficient and pleasant way. Thanks to this technological implementation, connection problems for users ended. The system works practically on its own, automatic, very intuitive and without common errors,” adds Camarasa.
Since implementation they have adapted their methodologies to achieve the desired objectives. “Most of our meetings are now done in hybrid format. Taking advantage of the fact that with this new technology, those who come to our offices in person can participate in the same way as those who attend remotely,” he says.
And, after including the Clevertouch interactive monitor, they have been able to open the meeting room, which has a capacity of fifteen people, to a greater number of participants. “The multifunctions of the solution allow us to hold a conference with a presentation on screen for in-person attendees and that virtual participants can also see from home and participate in the meeting.”
“The monitor has surprising image quality, as well as very good sound even in complex video conferences,” he adds.
According to Camarasa, they have received two training sessions. The first by Lluís Sala, CEO of Pyme Tech and the second by a Charmex representative who gave them advice to get more out of all the monitor's functionalities.
“We are still in the process of learning all the possibilities that the new screen allows us. It is fun and at the same time useful, thanks to the multitude of functions and applications, it adapts to users more or less accustomed to technology.”
In the near future they hope to get the most out of the product, holding virtual sessions in streaming and improving in the conduct and organization of meetings in hybrid format.
